Welcome to the Computer Lab! Course Description Students will learn the aspects of daily computer use with Microsoft Office software.  Topics will include word processing, spreadsheets, databases, telecommunications, desktop publishing, presentation management, networking, operation systems, and emerging technologies.  Students will apply appropriate formatting of documents, create spreadsheets with formulas, as well as creating various types of graphs, build databases, discuss current issues such as ethics and safety concerns, and maintain and enhance touch-keyboarding skills. Grading Policy Grades are based on daily assignments.  Because of the A/B schedule, typically one grade will be taken per week. Longer projects may count as two or more daily grades.  Keyboarding counts for 1/3 of the grade. Keys to Success Attend school everyday. Partcipate in daily activities. Do your best!
