Art 1, Art 2, & Video Graphics
Welcome to the Navarro High School Art Department and Video Graphics. My name is Nancy Hartfiel and have taught 25 years. This year 2010 - 2011 will be my 21st at Navarro ISD. During the course of my career I have taught Art 1, Art 2, Art 3, Video Graphics, American History, Pals, and Yearbook.
I attended Texas Lutheran College where I received a B.A. in secondary education. Since then I have taken classes at University of Houston, Baylor, and Southwest Texas.
In my art curriculum I try to incorporate many different medias and techniques. We study famous artists and their styles. My goal is to encourage students to learn to express themselves through their art.
In Video Graphics we study the history of the cinema, watch some of the many outstanding American films of the 20th century and learn to film, edit and produce video.
